This project was designed, installed and commissioned for the Power To Be non-profit organization on Prospect Lake on Vancouver Island, BC. These customers were looking to offset their energy costs, so Shift designed a 131 panel 59kW system that would allow for a significant reduction in energy costs, provide peace of mind, and add value to the property. Shift also installed two Tesla Powerwall 2’s, with gateway, to assist with their energy storage needs.

The change to solar seemed scary and daunting at first but the guys at Shift made the upgrade painless and exciting. We choose to go with Shift because of great word of mouth, the quality of their work I'd seen in the field, expertise and of course competitive pricing. Our family decided to make the switch to solar because we purchased an electric car and were getting fed up with rising hydro costs. Our hydro bill has almost doubled in 10 years and we are sick and tired of being robbed by BC Hydro. The whole process was quick and seamless, we were only out of power for a couple hours. Tim did an excellent job of explaining the system to us and going over power generation estimates. The installation team were great too, nice guys and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend getting solar installed to anyone interested. My only regret is that we didn't make the switch sooner.

Everything about our experience with Shift was amazing! We started out with no expectations or underlying knowledge. We thought it was worth investigating since we were getting a new roof, but figured it would probably be too expensive. Well, the cost was lower than we expected and the benefit was higher! The whole process was very easy and painless to get a quote and then work together to refine it into the best possible solution for our situation. We got four quotes and Shifts was the most comprehensive, best warranty, and cheapest price too. Communication was prompt and excellent. Everyone I talked to was professional and knowledgeable and collaborative. Install was quick and easy and they went above and beyond by coming early one morning to shut off the power while I was dropping the kids off at school so I'd be able to work from home for the rest of the day. We are very happy overall and are highly recommending Shift Energy Group to anyone and everyone we talk to!
