13.92kW Solar Installation, with Tesla Powerwall, on Mayne Island BC

This project was designed, installed and commissioned in the fall of 2020 for a home on Mayne Island BC. These customers were looking to offset their energy costs by approximately 100 per cent, so Shift designed a 32 panel, 13.92kW system that would allow for a significant reduction in energy costs, provide peace of mind, and add value to the property.

Because this customer lives on one of the beautiful gulf islands off the coast of BC, they regularly deal with power outages during the winter months. To help mitigate this problem, Shift installed a single Tesla Powerwall that will provide 5kW of power and 13.5kWh of energy storage.
