Multi-unit Residential Building Electric Vehicle Charging rebate program 2017

Good news today for people looking to get an Electric Vehicle Charging station installed at their multi-unit building. The Province of British Columbia has temporarily re-introduced funding for installations of Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in multi-unit residential buildings as a part of the MURB Charging Program.

Funding is available on a first come first serve basis starting on March 27, 2017 and ends August 15, 2017 (or until funds run out). Generous rebates of up to 75% of costs up to $4,500 are available for qualified residents and property owners of existing stratas, apartments, condos, townhomes, and housing co-ops in B.C.
